Yokkaichi, whose name comes from the fact that a market was held on a day that ends with the number "4", is the prefecture's largest population and one of the leading industrial cities in Japan. KawagoeTown is the second smallest town in the prefecture with an area of 8.72 km2, but it has excellent transportation access, with major highways such as the Isewan Expressway and Kawagoe-Tomisuhara Station on the Kintetsu Nagoya Line. Despite the nationwide population decline and aging population, the town continues to grow due to an influx of people, mainly those in the child-rearing generation, and is developing as a vibrant town.
