Sakakibara Onsengo Sakakibara Onsengo
Sakakibara Onsen was located at the entrance to Ise, so it was used by the Imperial Prince when he visited IseJingu.
It has a history of being bathed (to purify oneself), and Sei Shonagon, a talented woman from the Heian period,
In "Makura no Soshi", it is praised as "the hot water is Nanakuri no Yu" (its name at the time).
Since the god of Izumo is enshrined as the guardian deity of the hot springs, many love poems remain.
As you can see, it has a deep connection to the imperial court and the shrine, and the quality of the spring water is smooth and smooth to the touch.
