Unique Michi-no-eki “Michi-no-eki Okuise Odai”
Michi-no-eki Okuise Odai, which has been certified as an important Michi-no-eki station, is a popular Michi-no-eki that is filled with tourists and locals on Saturdays and Sundays.
Inside the store, we sell specialty products from Odai, Taiki, and OdaiTown, such as shiitake mushrooms, Odai tea, TaikiTown, and wood products, with a focus on seasonal vegetables from TakiTown town. Fresh vegetables can sometimes sell out in the morning, so it's best to buy them first thing in the morning. The specialties are Naishomochi and Chuchumochi.

Magokoro Shokudo, which is attached to Michi-no-eki offers a wide variety of noodles and set meals, and is so busy at lunchtime that there is often a wait even on weekdays. "Today's Ekiben (limited to 35 servings)" is a popular item. Homemade side dishes are also popular.
In addition, the ``Odai Burger,'' which won a prize among the many Michi-no-eki foods at the recently held ``Michi-1 Grand Prix,'' is also on sale.
“Okuise Waiwai Market” held every month
Okuise Waiwai Market is held once a month on Sunday. Dishes and sweets made with seasonal vegetables will be served, the famous ``Detarame-yaki'' will be served, various face-to-face sales, and a drum performance by a local taiko group will be held. Seasonal events (mochi making experience, nagashi somen noodles, all-you-can-eat vegetable stuffing, etc.) are planned to be held at the same time. Please see the website for details.
