A golden carpet heralding the arrival of spring! It's a fantastic space♪

The colony of Mitsumata is located in Ishinagara, Misugi-cho TsuCity City. It was planted around 1955 for multi-purpose use of the forest, and since then, forest thinning work has been carried out several times, but in 2012, more intensive thinning than usual was carried out, and until then, Mitsumata, which used to be seen only in small portions, has spread all over the place and continues to this day. The area where they grow in clusters is approximately 1.5 ha (15,000 m2). The trees in the forest are approximately 70 years old.
The best time to see the flowers is from mid-March to mid-April, when the yellow flowers bloom at the tips of the branches, and the entire mountain is covered with Mitsumata flowers, creating a magical space. Also, from the observation deck, you can see a wonderful colony of Mitsumata.
