Gorgeous precincts with Hanachozu and Japanese umbrellas
Mizugaki-JinjaShrine is the main shrine in Tamagaki SuzukaCity, and is an Engishiki shrine with a history of 1,300 years.
It is said that the origin of this festival is that the people who lived in this area by working with the soil and the influential people of the area worshiped the god who controlled the soil.
Hanachozu and goshuin are gaining in popularity, and the colors and contents of both change depending on the season.
In addition, Japanese umbrellas are displayed throughout the shrine grounds, and Hanachozu and umbrellas bring healing and peace to the worshipers.
Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) Rocks in the precincts have existed for a long time, and were once located in a location where you could see the morning sun rising from the nearest Chiyozaki Beach from between the rocks. *Currently, the coast cannot be seen due to surrounding buildings.
In addition, there are many red torii gates lined up along the approach to Yato Kaki Inari Shrine within the shrine grounds, and there is also a ``granting stone'' that can be stroked to pray for good fortune, making it a shrine with many other attractions.
There is also Hanachozu at Tsubakinakato-JinjaShrine is about a 10-minute drive from here, so be sure to take the Old Ise Kaido Hanamode pilgrimage, which includes both Hanachozu Please enjoy.
