The building's exterior, reminiscent of a warehouse, is immediately eye-catching. On the first floor of the exhibition hall themed around roads and post towns, the history, culture, and performing arts of Hakusan Town are introduced using a central monument, panels, and videos. In the post town/road zone, there are folk implements reminiscent of the days when it flourished as a post town. The local history zone introduces the history of the people who lived here. Nostalgic daily necessities are also on display.
