This park uses the Honmaru and Ninomaru ruins of the Kuwana Castle ruins, and is approximately 7.2ha in area.
The park holds cherry blossom festivals in April, azaleas in May, and irises festivals in June.

KyukaPark is also enjoyed as a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing, and the ``Sakura Festival'' is held every year. Approximately 450 cherry trees, including Yoshino cherry, weeping cherry, and wild cherry, are in full bloom, and it is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot where you can also enjoy cherry blossoms at night.
