[Machikado Museum] Butsho Sohonten Buddhist Altar Workshop
You can see the entire manufacturing process of Buddhist altars, which are a collection of the best of traditional crafts that have been handed down for ten generations since the Edo period. (There is a process that uses lacquer, so you may have an allergic reaction, but please do so at your own risk.) Reservations are required. Request Machikado Museum is not a tourist facility in the traditional sense. It is merely a place where the director lives and works. Therefore, reservations are required and there are restrictions on opening days, etc.
