Mountain Cafe and Albergue Yamakirai

It is located at the foot of Magose-togePass on the World Heritage Site Kumano Kodo (Iseji Route). There are large wooden chaise lounges and wooden swings on the terrace, so you can take a good rest after walking the Kumano Kodo. All breads and cakes are homemade. Juices from wild peaches and plums grown in the garden are popular with customers. An albergue (simple accommodation) is a detached house or two rooms that can be used by one person.

土井竹林

江戸時代からの林業家「土井家」が、薩摩から移植した孟宗竹などの見事な竹林。約4000平方メートルにも広がる竹林には、直径30センチはある大きな竹がある。奥の扉は普段は閉まっていますが、開けていただくと東屋が。竹林を抜ける風が心地よい。（お帰りの際は扉のかんぬきをしっかり閉めてください）
