Gokatsuraike Animal Park reopens after renovation
GokatsuraLake Furusato Village Zoo, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, will be reopening on Saturday, June 29th after undergoing renovation work for about a year.The new Gokatsuraike Animal Park incorporates animal welfare principles and exhibit methods that take into consideration the characteristics of the animals.
Our goal is to be a zoo where anyone can encounter lively animals, where everyone can feel free to visit, and where it will be loved for many years to come.
The lively animals are waiting for you, so please come and visit!

Number of animals kept: 33 species, 85 items

Opening hours: 10:00~16:30 (entrance until 16:00)
●Closed: Every Tuesday
●Entrance fee
Adults (junior high school students and above): 900 yen, TakiTown 800 yen, annual passport 6,000 yen
Children aged 4 to elementary school students: Adults 500 yen, TakiTown 400 yen, Annual passport 4,000 yen
*Children under elementary school age cannot enter alone.
Discount for people with disabilities (※Please check your disability certificate): Half price admission fee
Group discount for groups of 20 or more: 50 yen off admission fee
