Ishigami-san (Shinmei-JinjaShrine)

Ishigami-san (Shinmei-JinjaShrine)

Ishigami-san san, located in the precincts of Shinmei-JinjaShrine, has long been believed by Ama divers to be able to grant one woman's wish, and now many women from all over the country come to worship. . Write just one wish on a prayer paper, place it gently in the wish box in front of Ishigami-san, and pray.

Unique talismans with embroidered stars and grid marks are also popular. The star can be written with a single stroke, meaning that ``even if an ama diving into the sea, she can return to her original place,'' and the lattice means ``there is no room for monsters to enter.''

IseShimaSummit Memorial Hall Samier

IseShimaSummit Memorial Hall Samier

After you've had your fill, I'd like to go to the popular spot "IseShimaSummit Memorial Hall Samier".
It opened on May 26, 2017 on the second floor of Kashijima Station as a place to pass on the legacy (assets) of IseShimaSummit held in 2016 to the next generation.

There is a panel display giving an overview of IseShimaSummit, and a display of the Owase Hinoki round table that was actually used at the summit, and you can even sit on a chair!

The attached Cafe Samier has a variety of menus related to the summit, making it the perfect place to take a break.

Shima Kanko Hotel The Bay Suite

Our accommodation for the night was the Shima Kanko Hotel, which was the venue for IseShimaSummit. The Bay Suite is an adult resort with all suite rooms, where you can enjoy French seafood cuisine and authentic Kaiseki cuisine.

In addition, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful ria coastline from the rooftop garden. There is also a photo spot where the leaders took commemorative photos during IseShimaSummit! If you take a photo at the same place, it will definitely become a memento of your trip!

Izawanomiya (Kotaijingu Betsugu)

Today, on the second day, I would like to visit IseJingu 's Naiku, Geku, and other spots that are connected to IseJingu!

Izawanomiya (Izawa Shrine) is one of the 14 Betsugu of IseJingu, and is also known as ``Izawa Shrine.'' Amaterasu-Omikami is enshrined here, and local people have prayed for a rich harvest of seafood and mountain food since ancient times.
The Otaue Festival, which is held on June 24th every year (the day of the June Monthly Festival), is registered as a national important intangible folk cultural property under the name "Isobe no Okanda" and is one of the three largest rice planting festivals in Japan. It is considered as one of the festivals.

It is said that Amaterasu-Omikami Amanoiwato, who is enshrined in Naiku (Kotaijingu) of IseJingu, lived in Ama no Iwato.
Iwashimizu, which is surrounded by trees and gushes out from a water hole, has been selected as one of the 100 best waters, and the waterfall, called Misogidaki, welcomes ascetics.

Okage-yokocho

We recommend having lunch, eating out, and visiting souvenir shops!

In the middle of the temple town of IseJingu Grand Shrine's inner Naiku, representative buildings of Iseji have been relocated and recreated. The charm of this region is condensed, so you can experience the taste of Mie's long-established stores, special products, history, customs, and humanity all at once!
A relaxing place where every day is as lively as a festival, but where time passes in a relaxing and nostalgic way. Enjoy eating around and buying souvenirs.

To enjoy Okage-yokocho to your heart's content, we recommend having lunch or eating around after visiting IseJingu, and then visiting the souvenir shops!
