I bought a nice SLR camera or mirrorless camera, but where should I take pictures? This Mie Prefecture photo travel course is for those people. If you take a photo here, it's sure to be your favorite! We will introduce you to some great spots.

Blue Grotto

KumanoCity 's coastline is home to strange and gigantic rocks that are unique to ria coastlines, such as Tategasaki and Onigajo. ``Gama-no-guchi'', which is part of the Tategasaki sightseeing tour that departs from Matsuzaki Port, is a large cave hole so beautiful that it is sometimes referred to as Kumano's ``Blue Cave.'' The blue sky and blue sea make it feel very open.

Onigajo (KumanoCity)

A natural art created by uplift, weathering, and wave erosion, it is a national scenic spot and natural monument that stretches for 1 km facing the Kumano Sea. At the top of the mountain, there are castle ruins from the Sengoku period, and there is a hiking course that connects it to Kumano Kodo and Matsumoto Pass. You can see the entire Kumano Sea from the observation deck called Oni-no-Miharashi.

MaruyamaSenmaida

In the Maruyama district of KumanoCity, there are many small rice fields called Senmaida. The scenery is spectacular, and it is said to be the best terraced rice field scenery in Japan. There are approximately 1,340 small rice fields stacked on top of each other, so much so that it is said that ``I thought one rice field was missing, but it was hidden under the shade.''

Numerous events are held throughout the year, including rice cultivation experiences, and conservation activities are carried out by local people.

World Heritage Resort Kumano Club

``Risojin Kumano Club'' is a resort facility where you can meet people and nature through ``meals,'' ``accommodations,'' and ``experiences,'' and experience Kumano even more.
The three "towns" (areas) within the facility host a variety of events to help you enjoy Kumano.
Everywhere in the facility is designed so that you can feel nature, such as the blue sea of Kumano Sea and the magnificent panorama of the sunset.

Hisai Sakakibara wind power generation facility (AoyamaPlateau Wind Farm)

Near the top of Mt. Kasatori, a green area AoyamaPlateau and Aoyama Highlands, is the largest windmill in Japan that generates electricity.
We have installed 24 wind turbines (3,000 kW) with each generating capacity of 750 kW, supplying clean energy to power companies.
The windmill tower is 50m high, the diameter of the rotor (rotating part) is 50.5m, and the height from the ground to the top is 75m, making it one of the largest in Japan. Its simple, flowing design blends beautifully with the surrounding landscape.

Tokaido Sekijuku

It prospered as the 47th post town on the 53 stations Tokaido. More than 200 townhouses built from the late Edo period to the Meiji period still exist here, and it was selected as a nationally important preservation district for groups of traditional buildings (selected in 1982) and one of Japan's top 100 roads (selected in 1986). has been selected.

There are many sights to see, including ``Seki Jizo-in,'' which is home to Japan's oldest Jizo Bodhisattva, and ``Seki Machinami Museum,'' which preserves and displays historical materials related to Sekijuku.

Walking the Kumano Kodo Iseji, a world heritage site

A course that follows the path of prayer that connects the two sacred places of Ise and Kumano. From the Heian period to the Edo period, many pilgrims walked there, so much so that the experience was compared to an ant's pilgrimage to Kumano. The moss-covered stone pavements weaving through the green trees are full of atmosphere.
