Date: Late February to mid-March

There is a legend that Michizane Sugawara ordered Morochika Imamura to plant the seeds of the plum tree that he admired at Garyuume, located in Misono-cho IseCity. The remaining plum tree is about 2 meters tall and has a trunk that crawls along the ground, and it was named ``Garyu Plum'' because it resembles a reclining dragon. It blooms a little later than other plums, reaching its peak in early March with double flowers.
It is also called ``Zaronbai'' or ``Yatsufusa plum'' because it bears many fruits.
