The largest flame festival in the prefecture
This festival originates from the warrior monks of Mitakeji Temple who bravely fought against Oda Nobunaga. It is also said to be the largest flame festival in Mie Prefecture.
A mikoshi weighing 600 kg is carried by men dressed in monk costumes and paraded around 2 km through Yunoyama Onsen Town, with torches blazing with tremendous flame.
There will be many events such as fireworks, stage shows, performances, and night stalls. This is an event that many people can enjoy.
