"Wisteria Garden" opens RedHilForestofHisa Fuji Red Hill Heather Forest

``Wisteria Garden'' in RedHilForestofHisa lined with famous wisteria trees
The "Wisteria Garden" in the Akatsuka Botanical Garden's satoyama "Red Hill Heather Forest" will open from April 12th (Friday) in 2024 for a limited time only (until early May).
Wisteria flowers have been loved by Japanese people since ancient times for their gentle fragrance and beautiful appearance, and many poems have been written about them in Japan's oldest extant collection of waka poems, Manyoshu.
The wisteria garden has 22 famous wisteria trees that came all the way from the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Flowers bloom in a variety of colors, including white, pink, and purple, and you can even see rare golden-leafed wisteria.
Akatsuka Botanical Garden is proud of its flower relay, which begins with weeping plum blossoms (Suzuka Forest Garden) in February.
In mid-May, there will be more than 400 varieties and 1,500 roses in the rose garden, followed by hydrangeas (Hydrangea Garden) from June, followed by water lilies for summer.
