In order to widely promote tourism in Mie Prefecture, applications can be made free of charge only for purposes that contribute to the promotion of tourism in Mie Prefecture, such as websites.

Terms of Use

Anyone (hereinafter referred to as "User") who uses the text, images, and other files posted on the website "Tourism Mie" by the Mie Tourism Federation (hereinafter referred to as "Our Federation"), as well as the photographs and videos (hereinafter referred to as "Data") managed by Our Federation, is required to agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Intended use

   Please use this opportunity to promote tourism in Mie Prefecture and gain exposure that will lead to attracting more visitors.
   If the Federation determines that the purpose of use or the media used is inappropriate, it may ask you to discontinue use.
   Examples of usage: travel product brochures, flyers, newspaper articles, advertisements, websites, etc.

2. Copyright

   The copyright of the data is protected by copyright law and other laws and regulations and belongs to the members of the Federation or the Federation. Any acts that infringe copyright are strictly prohibited.

3. Prohibited matter

   The following items are prohibited when using images and videos:

   1. Use of images or videos in a manner that significantly damages the image
   2. Posting direct links to images
   3. Producing and selling images or video materials that have commercial value (e.g. postcards for sale, calendars for sale, digital data collections, etc.)
   4. Secondary use of images and videos, as well as transfer, rental, or sale to others
   5. Use on portal sites and other websites that provide comprehensive tourist information
   6. Actions that go against public order and morals
   7. Submitting an image to a photo contest
   8. Intended for religious purposes only
   9. Anything linked to criminal activity
   10. Anything that infringes the copyrights of third parties
   11. Anything that infringes on the property or privacy of a third party
   12. Anything that libels or slanders third parties
   13. Pre-election campaigning, election campaigning or anything similar, or anything that violates the Public Offices Election Act
   14. Anything that violates the law or that may be subject to social criticism
   15. Anything that goes against the tourism policies and implementation of Mie Prefecture and the Federation.
4. Disclaimer
   1. Users are responsible for checking the content of the Data (including image orientation, color tone, contrast, etc.) as well as any captions, keywords, explanations, etc. attached to the Data and their accuracy before using the Data, and the Federation shall not be liable for any damages incurred as a result of a user's failure to do so.
   2. The Federation shall not be liable for any delay in the provision of services, any change, interruption or abolition of the content of the website "Mie Tourism" (hereinafter referred to as "this site"), or any other damage suffered by users as a result of the provision of this site.
   3. We will not provide any compensation for any impact on the user's terminal equipment, communication equipment, recording media, software, etc., or for any damage to data.

6. Submission of deliverables
   1. Users are requested to submit any results that use the data to the Federation.
   2. If you wish to include this information in a magazine, travel product brochure, or other printed material, please either donate a copy of the publication to the Mie Prefecture Tourism Federation free of charge, or send the relevant portion in PDF format to the email address listed below.
   3. If you post it on a web media, please include a link to www.kankomie.or.jp as the source. Also, please contact the email address in 7 with the URL of the post. If it is an image, please limit the size to 600 pixels wide x 400 pixels high, or 400 pixels wide x 600 pixels high.
   4. If you wish to use this for television broadcast, please contact the email address listed under 7 with the broadcast date and time.
