The park boasts 15,000 azalea trees, the most in the Kansai region. Every year in early May, the Yono Park Azalea Festival is held here, with market tents lined up across the roughly 2-hectare lawn, attracting a crowd of about 20,000 people. Nighttime lighting is available.
