Explanatory text

"On Mt. Wago in Erihara, there is a huge rock wall 127 meters wide and 31 meters high, which people call "Parrot Rock." When you sing in a hut called a storytelling place, the echoes off the rock wall and the song can be heard from the rock in front of the listening place. This phenomenon has attracted many writers and artists to visit here since the Edo period. In cherry blossom season, the surrounding area is filled with cherry blossoms in full bloom, creating a beautiful sight. The view from the top is magnificent, and it is also good to lose yourself in your thoughts while being blown by the spring breeze. There is a public lodging facility nearby where you can take a rest and enjoy eel dishes."
