Explanatory text

It is located in the old town of Nabari. In 1687, the third generation of the Todo clan of Nabari, Nagamori, built a large torii gate made of cypress wood to celebrate his 42nd birthday, and it was called the first torii gate in Kasuga. It was later burned down, but was rebuilt in 1788.
