A 25m-tall oddly shaped rock that resembles a giant lion roaring towards the sea. It is a national scenic spot and natural monument. Along with the neighboring Shinsen Cave, it is positioned as a guardian lion for Ouma Shrine, which is located upstream of the Ido River that flows nearby.
