There are four observation decks on the mountaintop in the center of the peninsula jutting out into the Kumano Sea: Kasaragi Observatory, Akebono Observatory, Miejima Observatory, and Tachibana Observatory. From the observation decks, you can see the town's symbolic Oyako Bridge and the varied ria coastline.
