Explanatory text
The festival began in 1928 with the floating of lanterns at the river opening. It was suspended for a while, but was revived in 1987. During the day, local performing arts and music festivals are held, and at night, a giant lantern measuring over 10 meters, which is made one by one each year, competes on the sea with huge fireworks in the background.
