Tanemaki Gonbei Monument and Zumbera Stone

Explanatory text

It is enshrined at Hosenji Temple in honour of Gonbei's courage in fighting the giant snake even at the risk of sacrificing himself. The Zumbera stone that he never let go of is also preserved here. Within the Kaizan district, there is the "Tanemaki Gonbei no Sato" (TanemakiGonbei-no-Sato, crows come to sow..." Within the park, there is a beautiful Japanese garden with a stroll around the hills and forests, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll, and the "Gonbei House," which displays items related to Gonbei and folk materials from the Kaizan district. The exhibition room and teahouse within the building can also be used as a place for cultural training.
