Explanatory text

This pass is the border between KihokuTown and OwaseCity. The most beautiful stone pavement on the Kumano Kodo trails through a beautiful forest of Owase cypress. Many other historical sites remain, including the Crying Jizo Statue. From Magose-togePass, there is a hiking trail to Mount Tengukura. The view from the top of Mount Tengukura is quite spectacular.
