This is a long-established Iga-Yaki store founded in the Tenpo era in the Maruhashira district, the home of Iga Iga-Yaki. Traditional techniques have been steadily passed down to young potters, and you can not only observe how they work, but also experience pottery making (reservations required, fee applies). The climbing kiln from when the store was founded, which can be said to be a symbol of tradition, is also a must-see. Products can also be purchased. The "Kamado-san" in the photo is a masterpiece that was featured on NHK.
