Explanatory text
This beach opened in 1920, and features white sand, beautiful pines, and shallow waters. It is crowded with people during the summer swimming season. In 1986, the site was selected as one of the "100 Best White Sand and Green Pine Sites" by the "Japanese Pine Greenery Preservation Society" for its stunning views. Many tourists visit the beach from within the prefecture, as well as from the Chubu and Kansai regions.
