Iinan Town is a famous place in Japan for its deep-steamed sencha tea. Blessed with a warm climate, rich geology, and the morning dew of the Kushida River, this highly fragrant tea is produced. Its deliciousness has been proven by winning the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award at the National Tea Competition for three consecutive years.
