The area around the mouth of the Midori River, "Heartful Mikumo," is the northernmost area in Mie Prefecture where Hamabou colonies can be found. About 300 plants grow naturally over an area of about 500 meters, and their tropical yellow flowers shine brightly against the blue sky and waterside.
