The Waraji Festival is a traditional festival held every September on the day of the monkey in Nakiri, Daio-cho, Shima ShimaCity Mie Prefecture. It has been designated an intangible cultural asset of Mie Prefecture and is said to be one of the festivals that represents Mie Prefecture. It is a mysterious festival born from the legend of Dandarabochi.
