Explanatory text

It is estimated to be over 1,000 years old, with a height of 35m, a circumference of 29m, and a trunk of 12m, making it one of the largest trees in the prefecture. It is a prefectural natural monument. It is located in the grounds of Mizuya Shrine, marked by a large red barrel, and has been watching over this land since ancient times.
