The old Wakayama Highway has a legendary pass connected to Amaterasu Omikami called Chin Toge. "It's dark even during the day at Mezurashi Toge" It is said that the pass was named Mezurashi Toge because Amaterasu Omikami and Ameno-Koyane-no-Mikoto happened to meet and said, "Oh, how strange." It is also a good place to see the "Tsubuteishi" (pebbles) that Amaterasu Omikami threw into the river to determine the border in the "Country Division Legend."
