FutamiuraBeach Rocks of Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) are one of the iconic landscapes of Ise-Shima, and serve as the torii gate of the sacred rocks of Futamiokitama-JinjaShirine, the Okitama Jinishi. Every year during the full moon period between October and January, the moon rises from the center of the Meoto Iwa Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) a symbol of marital harmony.
