This place was chosen as one of Japan's 100 best water sources. It is said that Amaterasu Omikami hid here, and the spring water that springs from a water hole surrounded by trees has been chosen as one of Japan's 100 best water sources. The waterfall called Misogi Falls welcomes ascetics.
