Explanatory text
The old Wakayama Highway has a legendary pass connected to Amaterasu Omikami called Chin Toge. "It's dark even during the day at Mezurashi Toge." It is said that the name "Mezurashi Toge" came from the fact that Amaterasu Omikami and Ameno-Koyane-no-Mikoto happened to meet and said, "Oh, how strange." This is also a good place to see the "Tsubuteishi" (pebbles) that Amaterasu Omikami threw into the river to determine the border in the "Country Division Legend."
