Explanatory text
A pass that marks the border between KihokuTown and OwaseCity. A moss-covered stone-paved road stretches for about 2km through a beautiful Owase cypress forest covered with ferns. There are many historical sites along the way, including the Yonnaki Jizo statue, Magose Ichirizuka, and the pass's Karyoen Tou-Otsu Ku monument. To the east of the pass is a hiking route to Mt. Tengukura, which offers a panoramic view of Owase. Just below the pass is Magose Park, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot.
