Explanatory text
The highlight of the festival is the "Sansha Mikoshi" parade, in which mikoshi (portable shrines) are carried from the three shrines of Matsusaka, Yakumo, and Mikuriya and paraded through the town in a valiant manner. The climax of the parade, the night parade, is particularly crowded with people, making it difficult to move.
