Zuikoji Temple is a temple associated with the Seki clan, who ruled this area in the Middle Ages. The Gongen Kaki persimmon tree in the temple grounds is said to be the persimmon that Tokugawa Ieyasu enjoyed when he stopped by Sekijuku.
