The Katsurahata area is a beautiful village where wild birds sing all year round, and on the western summit is the ruins of the Nagano clan's castle, from which one can see Ise Bay. In addition, every year, a dance called the "Katsurahata Jizo Dance" is dedicated to pray for a good harvest. (Winner of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award at the 11th Beautiful Japanese Village Landscape Contest)
