Explanatory text

This keyhole-shaped tumulus was built in the first half of the 6th century. It is said to have been called "Narutsuka" ("the mound rings") due to the legend that "every time an emperor abdicates, the mound rings." The total length of the tumulus is 37m. Many grave goods have been excavated, including a milk-patterned mirror, jewels, and sueki ware, some of which are unique, and they speak of the high level of culture that existed since ancient times.
