Explanatory text

In 2005, we started planting plum trees, wisteria, and hydrangeas at the Ise Onsen Golf Club, located on the banks of the historic Kazahaya Pond in TsuCity. The Seijukai Social Welfare Corporation, users of a vocational facility for physically disabled people, and staff work together to prune, fertilize, weed, improve the soil, and maintain and operate the garden. The plum garden covers 20,000 m2, with 650 plum trees of 45 different species, adding a gorgeous touch to the lawn. Enjoy a stroll surrounded by pheasants running about, Japanese white-eyes gathering to soak up the nectar of the plums, and the cries of Japanese bush warblers.
