As part of the "Hometown Water and Soil Conservation Activities" and "Regional Water Function Improvement Activities," local residents (volunteers) and the Improvement District have cooperated to carry out the "Hydrangea Full Campaign" with the goal of "making hydrangeas bloom all over the village, planting them along the Tachibai Waterway (about 20 km) and creating a distinctive landscape." More than 30,000 hydrangeas have been planted.
