Explanatory text
This mountain is at the northern end of the Suzuka Mountains, and botanically, it is the junction of the Ura-Nihon Flora Region and the Omote-Nihon Flora Region, where plants from both regions coexist. Geologically, it is a karst topography dotted with dolines, which are unique to limestone areas. In addition, plants from igneous rock areas can also be seen, and it is one of the leading "flower mountains" in the country, attracting many climbers throughout the year.
