Explanatory text

Located at the western foot of Kyogamine, it is also known as Hosono Jizoson. It is a pair of stone Jizo statues, one on the left and one on the right, and is said to be especially effective in treating eye diseases. The annual festival on the 24th and the major festivals in April and July are crowded with pilgrims from all over the country.
