In the past, this area was the sacred land of Karasu Park, but in 1925 it became Karasu Park, and in 1953 it was designated as Ise-no-umi Prefectural Natural Park. Within the park's total area of 4.8 hectares, old pines still spread their branches dynamically, creating an overwhelming landscape of majestic beauty.
