Explanatory text

A hidden area remaining upstream of the Miyagawa River. The gorge features rapids, cliffs and hundreds of waterfalls. Although it is a dense primeval forest area, a walkway and suspension bridge have been constructed. However, the first course cannot be completed in a day and is a rough path, so it is recommended for advanced hikers. (The hiking trail was closed due to a disaster in 2004 and cannot be seen at present.)
