Nishiki Fishing Port, facing the Kumano Sea, is located on the eastern edge of the TaikiTown, just past Nishiki Pass on National Route 42 from Kashiwazaki, Taiki Town. Currently, the port is known as one of the prefecture's leading fish farming areas for red sea bream and other fish, but the fishing rafts and fishing ponds operated directly by the fishing cooperative are also very popular.
