Explanatory text

This shrine has been worshipped by the people as the guardian deity of Hamashima since ancient times, and every January, the "Yumihiki Shinji (Arrow Pulling Ritual) and Bannouo (Board Fish)" rituals are held here. The grove surrounding the shrine is the shrine's guardian forest, and is designated as a prefectural natural monument.
