Explanatory text

There are many Jizo stone statues in the Iga region, and in Terada, IgaCity, there are three Jizo rock-carved Buddha statues and a Jizo stone statue made from the end of the Kamakura period to the Northern and Southern Courts period. Also, among the stone statues in the Ise region, the Ishiyama Kannon rock-carved Buddha group in Geino geinocho and the Jizo stone statues from the late Kamakura period at Komyo-ji, Hoju-ji, and Eishoji temples in Hisai city are well known.
