In 1907, the small shrines and temples scattered throughout the village were consolidated, and the shrine was enshrined here at that time. As there are many southern swallowtail butterflies that feed on the oatmeal tree, the shrine forest is protected together with the shrine forest, which is a cultural property designated by the town.
