Explanatory text
The largest wind turbine in Japan is located near the summit of Mt. Kasatori in the Aoyama Plateau of AoyamaPlateau. There are 32 wind turbines (3,000kw) with a generating capacity of 750kW each, which are supplied to the power company as clean energy. The wind turbine tower is 50m high, the rotor (rotating part) has a diameter of 50.5m, and the height from the ground to the top is 75m, making it one of the largest in Japan. Its simple, flowing design blends beautifully with the surrounding scenery.
